GSPC News: Thanksgiving, 2008

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope everyone had an opportunity to gather with family or friends, and to offer thanks to God for blessings in our lives. I am mindful of some who were in the hospital - I spoke briefly to Judy today and was glad to hear that son, Gregg, and Sonnie Wright were there with her. She continues to cherish your prayers.

In case you didn't see the "welcome to the new website" note last week, I am copying it below. There are several ways to "follow" this news update, in addition to check back regularly for new features. When static pages are updated, I'll be sure to put a notice in this news feed (with links) so you can be aware of those changes.

I look forward to seeing you all this Sunday for the beginning of Advent.

In Christ,

Robert

Hello all! We have been working behind the scenes to move our website content to this new blog format. If you are reading this, then you have followed www.gspc.net to this new site. Please take a moment to look around via the left-side menus. You can return to this home page and the newest "GSPC News" by clicking on the main "Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church" header.

I'd welcome your feedback on this format. You can e-mail me at robert@gspc.net or leave a comment at the bottom of this entry.

Some of the features of a blog are the ability to "subscribe" to the content, so that new information is sent to YOU via e-mail or a blog reader like Google Reader. It is also easy to interact with readers via the comments. We have designed this site as a kind of hybrid website/blog, so that fixed information about our programs is available through the left-hand menus and updated information will be posted here on GSPC News. Other major ministries, like the preschool and creative arts (and sermons and the pastor's blog), will run their own parallel blogs, which you can subscribe to separately.

If you'd like further information on subscribing or on how to interact with this blog, please e-mail me.
