We are involved in our community in a number of ways. We are interested particularly in serving the community right around the church, so if you live in South Charlotte or any of the "Old Providence" neighborhoods and have a ministry or social service need, please let us know about it.
Through our local mission giving and volunteering, we support the following:
Allegro Foundation
Alzheimer's Association
American Red Cross
Charlotte Emergency Housing
Charlotte Pregnancy Care Center
Crisis Assistnace
Florence Crittendon Services
Friendship Trays
Habitat for Humanity
Hospice at Charlotte
Love Inc.
Old Providence Elementary School (tutoring)
Salvation Army
Salvation Army Women's Shelter
Shelter for Battered Women
Uptown Day Shelter and "Rebound"
We support neighborhood families in need or crisis through our "Timothy Fund," "Thanksgiving Baskets," and "White Gifts" programs.
We have a small food pantry available to individuals or families in need in the Old Providence Area, but generally refer folks from the greater Charlotte area to one of the major community service providers like Crisis Assistance, Salvation Army, or Social services.
